What is a .SVF file?
The most common data format on the web.
An SVF file is a Serial Vector Format file, a plain text script of JTAG commands used to test or program electronic circuit boards and FPGAs. Open it in any text editor to read the commands, or run it against hardware using OpenOCD, Xilinx Vivado, or Intel Quartus with a JTAG probe attached. Unless you work in electronics engineering, you will rarely encounter this file.
