What is a .FSB file?

An FSB file is a FMOD Sample Bank, a proprietary audio container that bundles multiple sound effects or music tracks for use by the FMOD audio engine in video games. You cannot play it directly in a media player; use vgmstream (foobar2000 plug-in or CLI) to play or extract the audio inside. Encrypted FSB5 files from Unity games cannot be extracted without the game's AES key.

Why can't some files be converted?
Files protected with DRM (for example purchased iTunes .m4p songs or some .wmv rentals) are encrypted. We can show what's inside, but nobody can convert them without the key.
