What is a .DTSX file?
The most common data format on the web.
A DTSX file is a SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) package, an XML file that defines an ETL workflow for moving and transforming data between sources. Open and edit it in Visual Studio with the free SSIS Projects extension, and run it with DTExec or the SSIS Catalog in SQL Server. It is plain XML so any text editor can view it, but you need the SSIS tools to design or execute it.
